Welcome to the GCV Language & Navigational Center.
After you follow these simple instructions, you will never have to set up
language Translation again. Mixed in with the Translation information you
will also receive general navigational tips to make your online web
experience even more enjoyable when you are in the Translator language
mode. Please note that the Brochure can only be viewed at this time in
English. If you are in the Translation language mode and decide you wish
to view the brochure in English merely go to the right hand side of the
Translation language bar and click on “go to original page.” Once you
have viewed those items that cannot be viewed in Translator language mode
just click your browser back arrow and you will be back in Translator
language mode.
LOG-IN PAGE 1. First you will need to make sure you are using Internet Explorer. If you need to download Internet Explorer please click here: http://www.microsoft.com/canada/msn/msnoie8/ 2. Congratulations, now that you have IE 8. With www.goldcrownvacations.com site open, put your cursor to the side of the log in area: Right click your browser, there will be a menu that will appear. Go to all accelerators and a sub-menu will open, click on manage accelerators. ![]()
The window below will open when you click on manage all
accelerators. Click on accelerators in this menu. Scroll
till you see Translate with Live Search and click on this link.
The bottom button will come into view and just click the enable
button and you are all set. Close window.
3. Go to the Gold Crown Vacations Web Site. Put your cursor once
again to either side, outside of the picture. Right click your
browser/cursor again and go down to where it says translate with live
search, put your cursor there and a balloon to the side will open. Slide
your cursor over, set your controls for auto-detect and then use the drop
down menu to pick your language of preference. Click translate this page
and the entire page will be translated for you. You will notice
that a bar also opens up across the top of the web site and will continue
to translate for you.
4. If you open a page and the Translation Language bar does not appear at
the top of that particular page you will have to right click onto that
page or to the side of it and then right click and Translate that
particular page or section(s) separately.
Trouble shooting tips: If for whatever reason going back and forth in the web site and/or translating and you get a message that says this page cannot be translated, merely right click and refresh your page. If this tip does not work you may have to go back and click and close some of your open tabs. When you click open one of the many menu buttons at the top of the log-in page it will open in the language of your choice. When you want to close that window and you are in the Translation language mode you can close that window by closing the tab. You might notice that the original log-in page has reverted back to the English version. Go to the Translation language bar and set it again to the language of your choice and click the small arrow to the right where it says views. If you do not see the Translation language bar just quickly right click and repeat opening up Translation language mode. Remember the brochure cannot be viewed while the page is in the translation mode at this time. To view the brochure in English merely go to the right hand side of the Translation language bar and click on “go to original page.” Once you have viewed those items that cannot be viewed in the Translation language mode just click your browser back arrow and you will be back in Translation language mode. MEMBERS AREA: 1. From the Translation language mode you can log-in and you will be taken into the Members Area. Here you will only have to right click and set up the Translation language mode. If at anytime when you try to convert the Members Area (or any other section) to the Translation language mode and it doesn’t convert, first refresh, make sure any open pages from other individual sites are closed and then just go to the top right of the language bar and click on “go to original page.” Now right click and set up the Translation language mode and your page will easily convert. When it opens make sure your language preference is showing at top and if necessary change it to the language of your choice and click arrow to the immediate right to activate. 2. Now that you have converted the general entire Members Area page you will be able to go to the top menu items of the page and click on them and they will appear in the language of your choice including but not limited to the various tutorials. It is highly recommended for you to view the available individual tutorials at this time. 3. Any benefit site you go into, within the Members Area that shows when opened a Home button you will be able to navigate back to the Home Area by clicking onto that Home button. Any benefit site page that you open that does not have a Home button on it you will either use your browser back arrow or right click and click back. You may also close out the tab. 4. When you convert to Translate language mode you will want to make sure the translation has been 100% made before you begin clicking other areas on the page. Look at the top left of the language bar and you can note the progress, takes only seconds. ![]()
Luxury Resorts: Visit tutorials
first. Translate and read. Then….
from the Members Area while you are in the Translation language mode click open this benefit site. Once open put your cursor in the white section between the calendar and the picture of the boats. Right click and Translate as normal. When you are done reading what you want on this page go up to the Translation language bar to the right and click on where it says; “Go to original page.” You can then begin to use the calendar search widget. Regardless once you do your search the available dates and inventory will be displayed in English. To translate put your cursor under the first picture, right click and Translate as normal. Once translated you will be able to click on the picture of a Resort that catches your eye and that window will open up also in your language preference telling you all about the Resort. If you choose to book the Resort and pay for it once you click the book it button you will automatically be taken out of the Translation language mode. Enter your information and follow the easy final steps and get ready to go on vacation. You will receive an email confirming your payment and reservation confirmation. Remember every time you want to do a search you must first go up to the Translation language bar to the right and click on where it says; Go to original page. You can then begin to use the calendar search widget again. Resort Spotlight: This is a feature in the Luxury Resort section up at the top bar. Click on it and if you are in the Translation language mode it will open up in your language preference but the video will be in English. To learn more about the Resort Spotlight click on Book now and it will give you more info and pictures on the Resort. You will be in English here but before you put your cursor inside and right click to Translate click on a particular month first that might interest you, then right click and Translate. To get back after you are finished just close out the tab and then click home and you are back at the Members page! Special Resort Promotions: Visit tutorials first. Translate and read. Then…. coming from the Members Area and you are in Translation language mode: When the site opens merely put your cursor under the first picture, right click and Translate as normal. To begin with you won’t need to use the calendar search widget to view the 10+ pages of various promotional Resorts. When you find something you like click on the picture of the Resort and it will give you more pictures and additional information in the language of your preference. If you choose to see additional dates or availability of the Resort you like, you will first have to go up to the Translation language bar to the right and click on where it says; Go to original page. You can then click onto the orange months displayed under the picture of the Resort you like. It will show you the availability and price of the Resort you are interested in. Remember that if you choose to book and pay for your reservation you may do so by closing the translation mode and clicking, book it. Cruises: Visit tutorials first. Translate and read. Then…. coming from the Members Area and you are in the Translation language mode, click on Cruises. Presently the cruise site can only be shown and booked in English. For further assistance you will find your personal concierge 24/7 toll free at 1-877-851-2576 Use promo code: 10027010 and ask for language assistance or any other help you may need. Flights: Visit tutorials first. Translate and read. Then…. coming from the Members Area and you are in the Translation language mode, click on Flights. You will be in the Translation language mode. Put in your destination and all pertinent information. Click search. Once the results are returned, go inside the picture and right click, Translate as normal and another search window will open. Here is where you will put in all your information one more time. Note you will have to manually put in the departure and return dates when using the Translation language mode: Example 12/15/2011. Click search and your results will appear and you will be able to book and confirm. You will pick the flight you want, click on the blue box below it that faintly says select, another window will open and you will select again (do not Translate during the actual booking and paying for your flight). Best viewed and used in English. When done close out the tab and return to Members Area. Help is at the top bar click for assistance and then translate. Car Rental: Visit tutorials first. Translate and read. Then…. coming from the Members Area and you are in the Translation language mode, click on Car Rentals and when that page opens up you will be in the Translation language mode but you can’t do searches in Translate language mode. You can open a page and then translate, read and then go up to the top and click on “go back to original page” which will be in English. From English you can do your searches and then you can translate the results. When you are ready to book your reservation you will also need to do this without being in the Translation language mode. You can go back and forth as you open and close those pages you want to read. Remember to go back and forth just go to the language bar on top and click “go to original page.” Help is at the top bar click for assistance and then translate. Hotels: When you click onto this benefit site, scroll down to the bottom and you will see multiple languages available, click on which language preference you want and enjoy the site and savings. Help is at the top bar click for assistance and then translate. Hot Picks: Visit tutorials first. Translate and read. Then…. coming from the Members Area and you are in the Translation language mode, click on Hot Picks and when that page opens up you will be in the Translation language mode but you can’t do searches in Translation language mode. You can open a page and then translate, read and then go up to the top and click on “go back to original page” which will be in English. From English you can do your searches and then you can translate the results. When you are ready to book your reservation you will also need to do this without being in the Translation language mode. You can go back and forth as you open and close those pages you want to read. Remember to go back and forth just go to the language bar on top and click “go to original page.” Help is at the top bar click for assistance and then translate. All Other Travel Partner Member Benefit Sites: From the Members Area you can open a site. If it is not automatically translated, then right click and Translate. If only part of the site Translates, realize certain benefit sites are made up of many individual sites. Go into the section of the page you wish to Translate and then right click and Translate. When you are done reading that page go up to the top right hand side of the Translation language bar and click on “go to original page” and then repeat the process until you have read and Translated everything you want. Special Note: If you are asked to send the company an email to check availability you can write the email in your language of preference but you cannot be in the Translation language mode composing or sending it. If you wish to use any of the forms on the individual sites, it is recommended that you do so without being in the Translation language mode. After you fill out the form, submit and get your response, feel free to Translate. All of our Travel Partner Member Benefit sites have help available for our Members also. The following sites are specially designed for Internal Translation: Jet Blue: When you open the benefit site you will notice on the right hand side up at the top Español. Click it and it will translate to Spanish. Concerts and Events: When you click open this site, on the top left under the name “Ticketmaster” you will see a name of a city and the text that says and surrounding area. To the right of this text will be a little red arrow. Click onto the little red arrow and click on see international. You will have 18 languages to select from. Movie Tickets: Without using Translation language mode when you click open Movie tickets go to the top right hand side of the site and you will see a drop down menu giving you a choice of 11 different languages. The following sites will not Translate at this time: Good Sam: Cannot be viewed in Translator language at this time. National Park Service Sites: Cannot be viewed in Translator language at this time. State parks CAN be viewed. World-wide Rv and Boat Rental: Cannot be viewed in Translator language at this time.
